The holidays are soon approaching and many people are looking to make some extra cash quick. There are gifts to buy, meals to cook, and trips to take.        Laborers. We are setting up two crews of seven to start immediately in the Polk County area. This position can involve a variety of tasks, including physical labor, material handling, lifting 50-100 pounds, lawn maintenance, pool clean-up, operating hand tools, cleaning up debris, loading and unloading materials, flagging traffic, digging ditches, and more. Reliable transportation is a must! Some positions lead to full time work. This is a great position to get your foot in the door with some outstanding companies.

       Roadside Maintenance. This position is needed in Mulberry, Lakeland, Dundee, and Frostproof. This is full time work in four 10-hour days. Duties include manual labor, flagging and directing traffic, patching asphalt in roads, cleaning drainage ditches, loading and unloading materials, and more. Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and pass national background check.

       Selector – Stand Up Crown Forklift/Deep Reach. Located in Winter Haven, this is a temp to perm night shift position that starts at $13-$14, depending on experience. The job involves processing orders for daily routes through the orderly receipt, picking, and loading of product. A high school diploma or GED is required, plus a minimum of one year’s experience. This is heavy work that includes lifting/carrying over 75 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
