Salary: $45,000 – $58,000 DOE
Job Description: Main functions:

  • Manage Summer/Fall Corn contracts for NE & IA, and other ongoing projects coordinating labor and equipment needed to complete the project.
  • Prepare and update Budgets for income and costs relating to each project.
  • Coordinate Compliance in all areas from Field Operations to Payroll & Reporting, Fixed Assets, General Insurance, Crop Insurance and other necessary functions to operate Triple M for licensing to operate in multiple states and Federal licensing.
  • Manage Florida Citrus harvesting and purchased fruit contracts. Prepare schedules for harvesting for E/Mid and Valencia fruit; compare and prepare grower contracts according to fruit sold to Fresh Packinghouses and Juice Processing Plants, and maintain fruit inventories.
  • Pay Citrus Growers & Harvesting Contractors
  • Coordinate pricing for harvesting and haul contracts for invoicing.
  • Provide Financial Statements and Management Summaries, understanding how the General Ledger accounts affect each of the financial statements.
  • Manage Accounts Receivables & Payables & Workers Comp for Multi-States.
  • Prepare Year End Audits for CPA Federal Tax Preparation. Balance Notes Payable, Interest on Loans, and each account activity for correct reporting.  Print Detailed Line items for Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.  Email all 1099, W-2s, and tax documents to the CPA.
  • Prepare and maintain Federal W/H, SS & Medicare 941 Qtr Reports & Prepare Multi-state Unemployment Reports Quarterly & Annual. Oversee printing W-2s and 1099’s and filing with the proper agency.
  • Responsible for all deposits, recording deposits into income accounts and, tracking all cash expenditures, updating the budgets to actual data during the projects. All activities are recommended by generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Manage Lines of Credit and Liabilities (pre-approved by owners) and Payments.
  • Coordinate activities to run day-to-day operations in Florida, Nebraska, and Iowa with Field Foremen and General Manager.

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum AA or AS Accounting or Business Degree and Minimum 5 years of Experience with strong Accounting skills, Quickbooks, Excel, Word, Outlook email
