Heading Back to Work After COVID-19

What a wild ride this past year has been! There has been a lot of uncertainty, doubt, confusion, and misfortune due to the global crisis of coronavirus. With vaccines finally available, the end of this perilous plague may truly be in sight. We at KB Staffing have stood alongside our Polk County community as together we’ve worked hard to weather this unprecedented storm. After a year of remote working, however, there could be some understandable trepidation about returning to the offices.

Returning to the Workplace After the Crisis
Here in Polk County, the Central Florida economy has made valiant efforts to keep plugging away despite the risks of infection. People have gotten used to wearing masks in public and keeping their distance from others. Now that people are getting vaccinated against COVID-19, more preparations are being made to fully reopen all businesses and organizations. However, it’s important to remember that the danger has not yet completely passed, and we need to reopen safely.

As you prepare to reenter society, we at KB Staffing urge you to take all appropriate precautions. Plan out your days the night before to make sure you will have the things you need on hand, such as face coverings and sanitizer. Get up a little earlier than you normally would to allow extra time for travel, stopping at stores, and making your way through any temperature checkpoints you may encounter.

While you are at work or otherwise out in the world, be considerate of others. Continue to maintain physical distancing, wear your mask, and keep your hands to yourself. Wash your hands frequently and sanitize when washing isn’t feasible. If you are running a fever, coughing, or otherwise not feeling healthy, do yourself and others a favor by staying home and getting some rest.

Be Safe Out There
The threat of COVID-19 has not yet gone away, but at KB Staffing, we are confident that our scientific and medical communities will find a way to conquer this disease. While they work on that, let us help you get back to work, too, by getting you full-time temp jobs or temp-to-hire jobs as the Central Florida economy recovers from the damage caused by a nasty virus.
