Job Description: As a Trim Carpenter, you will be responsible for installing and crafting the finishing touches that bring our projects to life. Your expertise in trim work and custom woodwork will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive the highest quality results.Key Responsibilities:
- Measure, cut, and install baseboards, crown molding, door and window casings, wainscoting, and other trim work.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and sketches to understand project requirements.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently.
- Sand, stain, paint, or finish wood surfaces to achieve the desired look and protection.
- Collaborate with general contractors, architects, and other construction professionals to ensure seamless integration of trim work.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Trim Carpenter or similar role.
- Proficient in measuring, cutting, and installing woodwork with precision.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for high-quality finishes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues on the job.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
