With the COVID-19 vaccines making their way into the arms of people throughout the nation and world, we are all expecting a return to some type of normalcy in the foreseeable future. KB Staffing knows the strain that this pandemic has put on employers, employees, and even children. As excited as we all are to get back to work, school, and socializing, we need to keep some things in mind in order to protect our collective health and well-being.
Staying Safe as You Return to Work
KB Staffing knows that things are going to be different moving forward, and we want the Polk County workforce to be safe as more places resume regular business operations. Here are some simple guidelines to keep in mind.
- Be considerate of everyone’s well-being. First and foremost, we need to remember to be considerate towards each other. Some of us have lost loved ones during this public health crisis, and some have conditions that put us at higher risk of infection or complications. Be sensitive to the needs and concerns of others.
- Continue social distancing and using masks. If necessary, do some rearranging to allow at least six feet of distance anywhere people will be working or moving through. Masks are an easy requirement that can help limit transmission of the virus, so consider providing disposable masks on-site for those who show up bare-faced.
- Clean and disinfect frequently. Make sure there is soap in the bathroom and hand sanitizer available in other locations. Have a dedicated cleaning crew tasked with regular sanitization of all surfaces, doors, telephones, and equipment.
