Long-term temp positions are available in Winter Haven as Meat Utility and Dumpers. Applicants must be comfortable working in cold work environments and with raw meat, as they take meat from conveyors to meat cutters and dump scrap meat in sanitation areas. The job also requires being able to lift between 50-100 lbs., as workers will be moving meat, standing and stooping in the production areas and warehouse. Keeping the facility clean is also necessary.
Turret Truck Crown Lift Operators
If you have at least two years of experience working with Turret Lift and experience with an RF Scanning gun, as well as working in a cold environment, please consider applying for the Turret Truck Crown Lift Operator position in Auburndale. These full-time temp, possible temp-to-hire, positions will package finished products, move materials among stations and maintain the equipment. A high school diploma (or equivalent) required, as well as completion of the Forklift Driver’s licensing process. Must be flexible with hours, especially on weekends.
Forklift Operator (Hyster)
If you are familiar with work as a forklift operator, then this full-time temp and/or temp-to-perm position as a Forklift Operator (Hyster) in Auburndale is for you. Those interested must have at least one year of experience operating a forklift and lumber handling, as well as a high school diploma (or equivalent) and completion of the Forklift Driver licensing process. Duties include providing production departments with materials, operating a forklift in a range of weather conditions and general maintenance of equipment, among other tasks. A pre-employment drug test is also required for the position.
