D Shift (Wednesday 11pm to 5am) (Thurs-Sat 5pm to 5am)

Job Description:

IMMEDIATE OPENING:

Bundle and stack finished pipe. Accurately perform testing and measurements to ensure quality and conformity to client’s specifications. Inspect finished pipe for defects. As needed, make minor adjustments to downstream equipment.

Bundle and stack finished pipe
Maintain QC sheet readings and perform required testing
Measure and monitor quality of walls, bells, length of pipe, etc.
Inspect pipe for defects and identify rejects
Label products
Re-ink printers
Operate scrap grinder
Make minor downstream equipment adjustments
Assist leadman on changeovers and line start-ups
Inspect each finished lift of pipe for detects
Complete and maintain appropriate records and paperwork including accurate machine histories
Count regrind and raw materials
Use hand tools such as banders, pneumatic staplers, drill motors, saws, etc
Work around hot plastic and it’s odor
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Heavy lifting 50 lbs to 100 lbs
Able to complete a 5-panel drug test
