Options for coverage include privately purchasing a healthcare plan, which can be complicated and require a lot of research, or enrolling through the healthcare marketplace at healthcare.gov during its open enrollment period is another choice outside of a benefits package through an employer. Ideally, your workplace can provide you with the healthcare coverage you need. Unfortunately, temporary employees don’t always receive that kind of offer.
